Bonita Jean Long Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonita Jean Long of Larwill, Indiana, who passed away on June 15, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dewey and Fern Scott (Winebrennner); her sister Ardith Joan; and her son-in-law Don Thompson. She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Allene and Maxine; her cousin Elizabeth Smith; her children, Michael Long (Joyce) of Larwill, Jill Long Thompson of Argos and Mick Long of Larwill; her grandchildren, Chad Johnson (Gina), Ryan Johnson (Chassidy), Madison Lehman (Todd), Shawn Thompson, Alysia Desbiens, Gretchan Thompson and William Anderson; her great grandchildren, Tyler Johnson (Abby), Bradley Johnson, Michael Johnson, Ella Johnson, Nicholas Lehman, Jackson Lehman, Nora Lehman, Mychael Thompson, Malcolm Thompson, Jay Thompson, Claire Thompson, Ryan Thompson and Dash Thompson; her great great grandchildren, Caleb Thompson, Autumn Johnson, Tegan Johnson and Adele Johnson; and her husband Roger.

She regularly donated blood to the Red Cross and served as a room mother when her children were in elementary school.
