With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stella Lucille Burgess of Lapel, Indiana, born in North Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on March 25, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Arney and Minnie Alma Arney (Lacey); and her husband Randal Thomas Burgess. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Edward Burgess (Jenny) of Greenfield and Billy Joe Burgess (Beverly) of Lapel; and her grandchildren, Thomas Edward Burgess (Crystal), Paul Burgess (Heather), Brian Burgess (Dawn), Jessica Nicole Baker and William Anthony Burgess. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
