Shirley Ligman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2023, at the age of 71, Shirley Ligman of Lapel, Indiana, born in Big Stone Gap, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Herbert Hobbs Sr.; and her brothers, Herbert Hobbs Jr. and Billy Joe Hobbs. She is survived by: her mother Ruth Hobbs (Wells) of Lapel; her husband Richard Ligman; her children, Stacy Weeks (Jim) of Anderson and Todd Johnson (Wendi) of Lapel; her siblings, Sharon Boles (Estes) of Lapel, Glen Hobbs (Marla) of Anderson and Randy Hobbs of Anderson; her grandchildren, Cameron, Shelby, Kaylee, Logan and Emma; and her great grandchildren, Jude, Ziggy and Beau. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Madison County Humane Society.
