He was predeceased by: his wife Hester (Sides); his daughter Marillis Richardson; his siblings, Beulah Cook (Clarence) and Bill (Gladys); and also, Paul Garber, Lester, Charlie Sides, Ruth, Florence Brubaker (Emmett), Ethel Jamison (Merle), Joe Sides, Oliver Sides, Walter, Harley Sides and Phyllis Yoder.
He is survived by: his children, Bob (Susan) of Lapel, Wayne of Pendleton, Gerald (Kathy) of Noblesville, Marilyn Garber (Eldon) of Pendleton, Margaret Garber (Roger) of Chambersburg, PA, Patricia Riffey (Jesse) of Hillsboro, WI, John of Lapel and Bill (Beth) of Lapel; his son-in-law Tom Richardson of Paoli; his sister Mildred Garber; and his siblings-in-law, June Metzger, Essie Sides, Ina Sides, Eunice Filbrun (Lester) and Charles Yoder. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
