He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Eugene and Mildred Y. Cox (Furrow); his wife Alice P. Cox (Simpson); his sister Melba J. May; and his grandson Nathan Thomas Purdue.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Cox (Jayne) of Swayzee, Teresa Cox of Edgewood, Vicky Purdue (Jeff) of Pendleton, Pam Adwell (Brett) of Kokomo and Mike Cox (Janae Ledbetter) of Pendleton. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
