She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Robert and Ada F. Scott (Markle); her former husband Ronnie J. Vanness; her husband Gayl C. Sheets; and her siblings, Frances Jean Brown, Robert E. "Bobby" Scott, Billy Ray Scott and Larry J. "Zip" Scott.
She is survived by: her son Mitchell Vanness; her stepchildren, Rhonda Brown (Brock), Susan Banta (Tim) and Brice Sheets (DeLina); and her grandchildren, Maizy, Finn and Jax.
