He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hackleman and Hilda Hackleman (Hatton); and his brother Stan. He is survived by: his wife Bessie Hackleman (Bell) of Lapel; his daughter Melanie Carey (Kevin) of Anderson; his stepson Greg Bell of Noblesville; his sister Sue Jones (Terry) of Anderson; and his granddaughter Brianna Dees (Landon) of Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews and cousins.
