We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2020, at the age of 88, Jean David L. (Lapel, Indiana), born in Madison, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Tull and Mattie Belle Snyder (Hunter); her husband Jim Layton; her grandparents, Charles, Mary Snyder (Stephenson), Harvey and Dora Hunter (Bell); her brother Wayne C. Snyder; her sister-in-law Alva Snyder; her niece Eleanor Blankenship; and her nephew Steve Kellams.
She is survived by: her sons, Greg, Rex and Pruitt; her grandchildren, Alicia Madeksho (Tim) of Friendswood, TX, Jodi Layton, Jennifer Leonetti (Pat) of Scottsdale, AZ, Kevin Layton of Phoenix, Jackie Layton of Denver and David Layton of Lacy, WA; her great grandchildren, Taylor, Austin Madeksho, Jamesby and William Leonetti; her nieces, Beverly Kellams (Roger) and Carolyn Mohler (Steve); and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Stevenson (Kaye Don) and Jan Baker (Jim).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Scholarship Fund; the Lapel Lions Club; the Lapel High School Music or Athletic Departments.
