He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Pettigrew and Ruth Pettigrew (Gustin); and his siblings, Bob, Farrell, Jim, Neal, Gilbert, Roy and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Mona Pettigrew (Horton); his children, Bruce Pettigrew (Chris) of Colorado, Vicki Johnson (Tom) of Kentucky and Darrell Pettigrew (Lydia) of Oldenburg; his siblings, Max Pettigrew of Carmel, Mike Baldwin of Florida and Janet Arline of Anderson; his grandchildren, Abby Henseler (Joe), Kristin Richardson (Jon) and Kaitlin Pettigrew; his great grandchildren, Natalie and Theo; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Barker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
