It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Vangets (Lapel, Indiana), born in Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on March 31, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Vangets and Elizabeth Vangets (Cain); his wife Lois Vangets (Day); and his sisters, Florence Slick, Jeanne Dickerson and Patty Cooper.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Vangets (Jan) of Muncie, Luanne Canfield (Dallas) of Anderson and Tami Paddock (Daniel) of Lapel; his grandchildren, Amy Smith (Chris), Todd Vangets (Chelle), Traci Robbins (Greg), Troy Canfield (Katrina), Landon Paddock (Amanda) and Cam Paddock (Jill); his great grandchildren, Holly Robbins, Shelby Robbins, Brevin Smith, Chaylee Smith, Ian Canfield, Silas Canfield, Isaac Vangets, Keaton Vangets, AJ Vangets, Cale Paddock, Maddie Paddock, Charli Paddock and Ace Paddock; and his nephews, Ronnie Slick and Dan Cooper.
