With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris A. Bechert of Lapel, Indiana, born in Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away on December 3, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Miller and Edna Leona Miller (Merkle); her husband George Bechert Jr.; and her brother Dean Miller (Patty). She is survived by: her daughters, Tami Knauer of Lapel, Deniece Witt (Miles) of Westfield and Joice Aurednik (Jeff) of Pennsylvania; and her brother Rex Miller (Sue) of California. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
