He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Givens and Dessie Mae Givens (Kreegar); and his brother Stephen Givens. He is survived by: his wife Lola Givens (Patton); his children, Ronald Givens (Julie) of Carmel, Scott Givens of Anderson and Leah Sanders (Chris) of Anderson; his brother Douglas Givens (Susan) of Ohio; his sisters-in-law, Jane Givens of Greenwood, Patsy Cash (Lee) of Anderson and Linda Van Dalsen of Virginia; his cousin Richard Catt; his nieces, Cindy Glover of Lapel and Patti Brinker (Dan) of Lapel; his grandchildren, Renee Brattain (Charlie), Andrea Givens (Joe Walker), Abigail Maxey and Michael Maxey; his great grandchild Jordan Brattain; and his pet Zoey.
