He is survived by: his children, Leroy Shafer of Lakeville and Stacey Joann Shafer of Plymouth; his close friend Mary Nemes of South Bend; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ann Treesh, Kurt Allen Oliver and Kody Russell Oliver; his great grandchildren, Stacie, Felicity and Sophia; his sister Christina Clark of Wyatt, IN.; and the mother of his children Paula Shafer of Plymouth.
