She was predeceased by: her mother Virginia Lee Pattengale; and her brother Scot Pattengale. She is survived by: her husband Keith Nelson; her children, Kayla Shelly (Justin) and Dylan Ashmore (Rhiannon) of Wheeling, IL; her stepdaughters, Jenny Knable (Chris) and Tricia Nelson of Valparaiso, IN; her brother Darrell (Debbie); and her grandchildren, Makayla Bell, Klaytin, Kolton Cook, Donald Shelly and Logan Shelly.
