It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Lee Shisler of Laotto, Indiana, born in Albion, Indiana, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Porter R. Black and E. Pauline Black (Zumbaugh); her husband John W. Shisler; her son-in-law Dale Stjernholm; and her fathers-in-law, James W. Clark, Duane Shisler (Alice) and Ted Shisler.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Kenner (Kerry) of Charlotte, Elaine Stjernholm of Loveland, Heidi Needham (Mike) of White Pigeon, Mary Pasquali (Mike) of Kendallville and John P. Shisler of LaOtto; her grandchildren, Jacquelyn Cuny (Keith) of Liverpool, Cora Bicknell (Brian) of Golden, Pauline Knutson (Brian) of Colorado Springs, Lucille Paffett (Tyler) of Springfield, Virginia, Regina Stjernholm of Loveland, Emily Rollins (Kyle) of Birmingham, David Needham (Victoria) of Lombard, Andrew Pasquali (Molly) of Fort Wayne, Lina Lehner (Rob) of Dayton, Ohio, Anna Camburn (Patrick) of Sturgis and Felean Marshall (Nicholas) of Fayetteville; her great grandchildren, Holly, Maverick Cuny, Dylan, Coleton Moorman, Tyler (TJ), Lucas, Hannah Paffett, Avery, Patrick Rollins, Nora, Grace, Luke, Rory Pasquali, Samson Bicknell, Jonathan, Charlie Marshall, Theodore Needham and Audrey Camburn; her sister E. Jane Clark of Lakeland, Michigan; and her sister-in-law Wanda Shisler of Dayton, Ohio.. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, where she was a long-time member, or to the Avilla Food Pantry.
