She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Sorg and Mildred Sorg; her husband Duane Kirk; her son Dewayne Kirk; her grandchildren, Chad L. D. Vance and Faith Meyer; and her siblings, Gene Sorg, Vern Sorg and Linda Grate (Sorg).
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Vance of LaOtto and Michele Meyer (Kenneth) of Kendallville; and her grandchildren, Vicki Kester (Richard), Kris Vance (Deidra), Michael Vance (Angel), Teya Treesh (Max), Ann Kirk, Christopher Kirk, Kristin Creager (Josh), Sarah Scheurich (Art) and Adam Meyer (Shannon). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
