The passing of Arlene Jean Lewis of Laotto, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 10, 2024 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles J. Dollarhite and Clara Belle Dollarhite (Grodrian); and her siblings, Beverly Dollarhite and Doyle Dollarhite. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Fryback of Ft. Wayne, Kenneth Fryback of Decatur, Keith Fryback of Huntertown, Sara Mattax (Gary) of Ft Wayne and Sharon Wilber (Mike) of LaOtto; her stepchildren, Adam Lewis (Heather) of Auburn and Jody Lewis of Kendallville; her grandchildren, Robert, Katie, Kenneth Jr., John, Nicole, Eric, Craig, Devan, Katlyn, Catherine, Aaron, Cristina, Alex, Brittany, Brooke and Bailey; her great grandchildren, Autumn, Blake, Logan, Ava, Eloise, Daxton, McKenna, Gunner, Oakley, Navy, Paisley and Beau; and her brothers, Gale Dollarhite (Karen) and Kermit Dollarhite (Claire).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Harper Funeral Homes - Avilla Chapel (530 N Main St, Avilla, IN 46710). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church (228 N Main St, Avilla, IN 46710).
Contributions in Arlene's memory may be directed to Masses at St. Mary's or the Hematology Center at Parkview.
