It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Leon Almon of Lanesville, Indiana, born in Earlington, Kentucky, who passed away on October 13, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marvin Almon and Lilllian Almon (McElroy); his wife Catherine Almon (Rhodes) of Lanesville, IN; his children, Rebecca K. Lamon (Paul) of Lanesville, IN and Marvin "Lee" Almon III (April) of Floyds Knobs, IN; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Lamon, Elizabeth Scalf (Donnie), Ryan Almon and Lily Almon.
