He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Henckel and John Anthony Henckel; and his siblings, Gertrude Schmelz and Robert Henckel. He is survived by: his pet America; his children, Larry and Barbara; his wife Barbara Ann Henckel; his children, Lawrence Henckel Jr. (Laura), Elizabeth Roberts (Paul Roberts), Amy Henckel (Roger Knipp), Dorothy Henckel (David Yosha), Andrew Henckel (Melissa) and Danielle Henckel (Shane Smith); his grandchildren, Jacob Roberts, Gabrielle Henckel (DiJon DuPree), Lawrence "Tre" Henckel III, Peter Henckel, Samuel Roberts, Benjamin Henckel, Shannon Henckel and Inara Henckel; and his sisters, Elizabeth "Betts" Thomas, Janet Dobbins and Martha Jennings (James Jennings). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws; and two barn cats.
