Joan T. Schickel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan T. Schickel of Lanesville, Indiana, born in Palmyra, Indiana, who passed away on December 12, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Justin Uhl and Catherine Gettelfinger Uhl; her siblings, Juanita Zoeller, Roma Wolfe, Carl and Jude Uhl; and her son-in-law Tim Hardy.
She is survived by: her husband Peter J. Schickel; her children, Marilyn Lines (John) of Loveland, CO, Robert Schickel (Teresa) of Lanesville, Janet Hardy of Louisville, Carol Hoehn (Joe) of Corydon and Donna Zutt (Michael) of Louisville; and her siblings, Frances Sasse of Louisville, Raymond Uhl (Terrie) of Monroe, GA, John Uhl (Ruby) of New Washington, IN and Stephen Uhl (Diane) of Oro Valley, AZ.. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 we will be adhering to the following: Masks are required. No more than 50 people in the building at one time, social distancing will be observed, and we cannot accept food to share in the funeral home.
