It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Rau Walther of Lanesville, Indiana, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Omar FJ Rau and Ivera Willbrand Rau; and her sister Eunice Walther (Jim). She is survived by: her husband Norbert Walther; her sister Dorothy Kahre (Jim); her children, Jan Rau Walther, John Walther and Jane Walther Pfeiffer (Lee); her grandchildren, Michelle Coleman (Rich), Andrea Hamblen, Hanna, Riley and Adam Pfeiffer; and her great grandchildren, Haley and Carson Coleman.
Due to COVID-19 precautions, the funeral is private, with burial to follow at St. John's Lutheran Church.
