She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Wellmeier and Viola Wellmeier (Damm); her son Gary R. Schlachter; and her siblings, Charlotte Kerwick, Betty Godman, Samuel Wellmeier, Jack Wellmeier and Jerry Wellmeir.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Eugene Schlachter of Ferdinand; her children, Kathy S. Schlachter of Evansville, Bradley G. Hart of Humboldt, David Schlachter (Tassane) of Eldersberg and Robert Shclachter (Karen) of Louisville, KY; and her brothers, Dale E. Wellmeier (Margie) of Evansville and Ned E. Wellmeier (Rose) of Boonville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
