With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Therese Fansler of Lakeville, Indiana, born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on October 28, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Sappenfeild and Mathilda Sappenfeild (Varga); her children, Denise Fansler, Guy and Douglas Fansler; her grandson Brandon Fansler; and her brother Robert Vaszari.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Whitehead (Kevin) of South Bend and Shawn Fansler (Amy) of Plymouth; her daughter-in-law Judith Fansler of Mishawaka; her adoptive daughter Aimee Leed-Lucas of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Jessica Fansler, Jennifer Fansler, Jessica Whitehead, Cameron Whitehead, Summer Plummer, Josey Leed, Shaylee Leed, Jacob Fansler, Joseph Fansler, Joshua Fansler and Jillian Fansler; her siblings, G. R. "Skip" Vaszari (Linda) of Spring Grove, IL, John Vaszari (Renata) of Redondo, CA and Regina "Reggie" Wolferman (John) of Florida; and her sister-in-law Gail Ann Vaszari of Lakeville. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
