He was predeceased by: his parents, John Veger and Mary Veger (Kobor); and his siblings, Kathryn Vardeman, Elizabeth Adcock, Irene Forkner, Clara Nelson and Joseph Veger.
He is survived by: his wife Twila Veger; his children, Melanie Veger Micozzi, Sharman Veger (David McCubbins), John Phillip Veger (Carolyn) and Anthony Veger (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Cory, John Colin, Chelsea, Elias and Eva; his great grandchildren, Micheal, Elan, Leah, Hope and Layton; and his sister Winifred Messana.
