She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Annis and Ruth Annis (Hensley); and her siblings, Mary "Cook" Davis, Revonda Denny, Harold Jr. and Richard "Dickie" Annis.
She is survived by: her husband Vernon "Roger" Sauer; her sons, Vernon Sauer II (Marinel), Kevin Sauer (Brandy), Darren Sauer (Shana) and Dustin Sauer; her siblings, Susie Haas (Lyle), Russell Annis (Judy) and Shawn Annis (Jackie); and her sisters-in-law, Wanda Annis and Debra Annis. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joanne's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
