He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Miller and Erma Miller (Hygema); and his brothers, Ernest, Roland, Richard and John Miller.

He is survived by: his sister Marilyn Gundlach (Gerald); his daughter Dana M. Simanovich; and his grandchildren, Marcus, Missy Carlson, Jessica, William Lowe, Shellbie, Michael Jackson and Brayden Hammond. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
