He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Shoemaker and Hazel Shoemaker (Snyder); his wife Doris Shoemaker; and his siblings, Harold Shoemaker and Marilyn Shoemaker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Birchmeier (Kevin) and Deborah Shultz (Mark); and his grandchildren, Nicole Finner (Travis), Shane Barger (Amber) and Garrett Sharp (Nicole). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
