He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Butler and Lillian Butler (Snyder); his granddaughter Amanda Jane Riddle; and his brothers, Jim, Dick and Jack Butler.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Butler (Mary) of Plymouth, Kenneth Riddle of Plymouth and David Riddle (Susan) of Lakeville; his grandchildren, Beth Verstraete (Kris), Kimberly Riddle, Kenneth Riddle, Jr., Timothy Riddle, Kameron Riddle, Heather Dunn (Chris), Michael Butler (Emily) and Matthew Butler; his great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Logan, Rowan Schied, Killian, Henry Verstraete and Theodore Dunn; his sister Jane Kolacz of Plymouth; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Riddle of Lakeville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Gerald Lee Butler may be donated to the American Legion in Lakeville.
