With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eleanor E. Freehauf of Lakeville, Indiana, born in South Bend, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Monhaut and Mary Monhaut (Shimp); and her siblings, Pauline Accoe, Alice Hartman, Julie VandeZande and John Monhaut.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Freehauf (Becky) of Granger, IN, Cindy Freehauf (Ed Jennings) of Denver, CO, Dennis Freehauf (Kay) of Lakeville, IN and Leon Freehauf of Zionsville, IN; and her grandchildren, Chad Freehauf (Johanna), Brian Freehauf (Jill), Andrew Freehauf (Sarah), Piper Knight (Stacy Buford), Kristen Freehauf (John Christy), Kelly Davis (Matt), Sophia Freehauf, Wyatt Freehauf, Lauren, Lucas, Julien and River.
