It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald J Shirley of Lakeville, Indiana, born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on January 3, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Shirley and Opal V. Shirley (Peterson); his brothers, Max, Dean, Jack, Jerry Shirley and Frank LaCrone; and his stepfathers, Earl LaCrone and Eldon Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Jarrell (Steve) of Plymouth, Kathleen Manduka (David) of Warsaw, LeeAnn Haller (James) of Warsaw, LouAnn Stewart (Greg) of Plymouth and Michael Shirley (Jenifer) of Chesapeake, VA; and his stepsister Lois Rash of Plymouth. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
