It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Laplace of Lakeville, Indiana, born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar LaPlace-Hoover and Marilyn "Jean" LaPlace-Hoover (Baugher); and his stepfather John Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Stephens (DeCloedt); his stepmother Brenda LaPlace; his stepsons, John Stephens of Mishawaka and Glenn Stephens (Kim) of Granger; his granddaughter Kristina Stephens of Indianapolis; his great grandchild Emmett Smith of Indianapolis; and his siblings, Julie DeKeizer (Kenny) of Mishawaka, Kim Cossman (Dan) of South Bend, Tonya Rhodes (Dennis II) of Granger and Bud LaPlace (JoAnn) of Elkhart.
