He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his children, Tyler Clinton, Connor Symons and Addison Symons; his parents, Cheryl Durham (Dave) and Bob Symons (Jean); his sister Amy Stokes (Terry); his nieces and nephews, Bradley Rigby, Garren Stokes and Raeya Stokes; his grandparents, Donald Laudig (Fran), Leah Schrombeck and Jim Symons, Sr.; his mother-in-law Sandra Schild; his siblings-in-law, Doug and Shari Popplewell; and his grandmother Charlene Symons.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to his Fire Dept. or the North Newton Athletic Dept.
