As Gilda Rose departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gilda Rose may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gilda Rose leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Henry Hoevker; her son Scott Hoevker; and her siblings, Angie Klyczek (Robert) and Frank Cesarone (Patricia). She is survived by: her daughter Staci Mohan (Timothy); her grandchildren, Amanda Stutsman (Sean), Marissa Mohan, Alyssa Hoevker and Lucas Hoevker; and her great grandchildren, Kai, Ava and Gunner.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Smits-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
