He was predeceased by: his wife Tina; and his parents, James Dexter and Clara Newell (Bertram). He is survived by: his daughters, Cari Gard (Kyle) of Lowell and Dawn Piskoty (Ricky) of Cedar Lake; his grandchildren, Nathan and Payton Gard; his siblings, Diane Hibbs (Jayme) of Lake Village, Dale Dexter (Candy) and Martin Dexter; his niece Crystal Dvorak; and his nephew Josh Schwamberger.
