We bid farewell to Wynona Alt of Lake Station, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 10, 2024 at the age of 73. Wynona touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Wynona shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Wynona farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hinchley and Helen Hinchley; and her siblings, Rex, Ben Hinchley, Dolly Skomac and Sharon Quinton.
She is survived by: her husband John Alt; her son Jonathan Alt; and her granddaughters, Nicole and Hanna Alt. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel (600 W Old Ridge Rd, Hobart, IN 46342).
