She is survived by: her husband Herbert Podenski, Jr.; her children, Herbert Podenski, III (Lisa) of Lake Station and Jeanine Ahmed (Irfan) of Schererville; her grandchildren, Britney Haywood (Richard), Amber Lenzo (Daniel), Matthew Podenski (Makayla), Ona Ahmed and Aleena Ahmed; her great grandchildren, Alivia, Toby, Kaden, Quinn, Braelynn and Elijah; and her sister Kimberly Merritt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
