With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raquel Lopez of Lake Station, Indiana, born in East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on February 24, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Arturo C Lopez; her mother Guadalupe Zaragoza; and her siblings, Margaret Soria, Toni Bustamante, Amelia Martinez, Ignacia Gomez, Manuel Nunez and Salvador Nunez.

She is survived by: her children, Gloria Guardiola, Linda Lopez, Arthur Lopez (Rhonda), Mary Medina (Juvenal) and Paul Lopez (Latonya); her grandchildren, Yvonne Guardiola, Ramon Guardiola (Joanna), Celia Giboyeaux, Amanda Lopez, Paul Lopez Jr., Alexander Medina and Aniyah Lopez; her great grandchildren, Maria Guardiola, Lyana Guardiola, Timothy Greer, Armando Giboyeaux and Cataleya Lopez; and her sister Lucy Arias. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and loving friends.
