She was predeceased by: her father John C. Smith; her husband Grant Johnson; her sons, Jeffery Meeks and Carl Meeks; and her brothers, Albert Smith, Robert Smith and Maynard Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Vickie Shewmaker of Lake Station; her grandchildren, Gary Shewmaker, Jr., Cassie Cardenas (Carlos) and Kaylyn Shewmaker; her great grandchildren, Gabriella Cardenas, Mason Cardenas and Madeline Cardenas; and her brother John C. Smith (Cathy).
