He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shipley and Ida Shipley Sr. (Crawford). He is survived by: his wife Star Shipley; his children, Kim Shipley, Gerald Shipley Jr. and Bill Shipley; his grandsons, Nick and Noah Shipley; and his brothers, George Shipley Jr. (Jeannie) and Gregg Shipley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
