It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Desiree Emerson of Lake Station, Indiana, born in Dawson, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lint and Ruth Lint; and her sister Anna Hardy. She is survived by: her children, Joseph "JJ" Penilla, Cody "Bub" Emerson (Heather O'Mahoney), Edward E. Knox (Tiffany) and Bryanna; her grandchildren, Lilly Thompson, Tibias, Arinna Payton, Josalynn, Isabella Emerson, Addison, Gavin, Alysa, Skyler and Ethan Knox; her boyfriend Charles A. Llamas; and her sister Donna Gonzales (John). She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
