Debra left this world on March 26, 2025 at the age of 63, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Debra may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her father Earl Gass; her husband Wallace Johnson; and her sister-in-law Becky Gass. She is survived by: her mother Alice "Gwen" Gass (Hadley) of Lake Station; her son Chance Draper of St. Charles, Illinois; her stepchildren, Doug Draper and Amanda Draper; and her brothers, David Gass (Jennifer) and Ronald Gass. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel (3781 Central Ave, Lake Station, IN 46405). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
