It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Burton of Lake Station, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on September 18, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Slavik and Joyce Slavik; her daughter Laurie Ketchem; and her brothers, John Ray Slavik (Lita) and Paul Slavik.
She is survived by: her husband Junior Burton; her daughter Dana McGowin; her siblings, Mike Slavik, Pat Slavik (Michele) and Brenda Slavik (Terri); her grandchildren, Krystal Ketchem (Joel Torres), Rubin Ketchem, Jesse Ketchem (Belinda), Kelly McGowin and Angela Boyd (Brandon); and her son-in-law Rubin Ketchem (Jennifer). She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
