He was predeceased by: his parents, Arturo Villarreal and Maria Villarreal; and his siblings, Victor, Guile, Pedro, Rodolfo Villarreal and Corina Villarreal.

He is survived by: his wife Irma of Lake Station, IN; and his children, Mona Lunn (Tom) of Hobart, IN, Patty Milbrandt of Union Mills, IN, Laurie Henrichs of Valparaiso, IN and Arturo Villarreal (Blanca) of Valparaiso, IN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Arturo's honor may be made to St. Francis Xavier Church.
