He was predeceased by: his father Ernest R. Shelton; and his brother Maurice Shelton. He is survived by: his mother Vera N. Shelton (Parsons) of Lagro, Indiana; his grandchildren, Kensley Thompson and Everett Thompson (Karen McKenzie) of Lagro; his sister Adrena Shelton of Wabash; and his nieces and nephews, Heather, Justin and Carlee.
