He was predeceased by: his parents, William Simpson and Kay Jean Simpson (Ryland). He is survived by: his children, Billy Ray Simpson, Danny William Simpson, Leann Bradley, Shawn Simpson, Missy Bieszk and Nikki Simpson; and his siblings, Paul Leonard Simpson, Virginia Cockburn and Walter Ray Simpson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
