He was predeceased by: his father Andrew Barker; and his grandfather Andrew W. Barker. He is survived by: his mother Nikki Barker (Sturgis) of Westler Lake; his sister Devin Sharick of Wolcottville; his grandparents, Dan and Joyce Barker of Kendallville; and his uncles, Mike, Kira Sturgis of Churubusco and Dr. Tom Barker of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by six cousins.

Memorials may be donated in Ryan's memory to the ARK Animal Rescue & Adoption.
