He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy B. Meeks and Esther Meeks (Bauermeister); and his brothers, Charles "Bud" Meeks and Frederick H. Meeks. He is survived by: his wife Carol Scheumann; and his children, Denise Schrock (Steven) of Topeka, IN, Kevin L. Meeks of LaGrange, IN, Kent Meeks (Nancy) of Cutler, IN and Layne Meeks (Kelly) of Cromwell, IN. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
