He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Byler and Maude Byler (Miller); and his siblings, Lucille Torrance, Delta Basile, Richard Byler, Dave Byler, Sam Byler and Gaylord Byler.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Dawson; his children, Wendy (Gordan Frost), Bobbie Jo (Michael Bustos) and Fred; his daughter-in-law Julie Byler of LaGrange; his siblings, Louise Burkhead of Goshen, IN and Eldon; and his sister-in-law Pam Byler of LaGrange, IN.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
