He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kuhn and Mary Kuhn (Cary); his son Richard A. Kuhn; his stepson Kenneth Lantz; his grandson Jason Lantz; and his siblings, Marjorie Jean Perry, Mary Janette and James R. Kuhn.

He is survived by: his wife Esther Miller; his son Douglas K. Kuhn (Linda) of Wolcottville; and his stepsons, Marvin E. Lantz (Carolyn) of Howe, Gerry Lee Lantz (Diane) of Sturgis, MI. and Roy D. Lantz of White Pigeon, MI.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; 2 daughters-in-law.
