He was predeceased by: his father Perry L. Bontrager; and his wife Marilyn S. Yoder. He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Bontrager (Yoder); his children, Beth Ann Schlabach (Timothy) of Shipshewana, Kaylene Kuhns (Dale) of Shipshewana, Jenean Bontrager of LaGrange and Steven Bontrager (Naomi Hershberger) of LaGrange; his grandchildren, Kaliannah Schlabach, Alaya Schlabach and Kayden Schlabach; and his siblings, Norman Bontrager of Indiana, Orvin Bontrager (Lorene) of Ligonier, Ernest Bontrager (Miriam) of Shipshewana, Ruth Ann Yoder (Mervin) of Topeka and Vera Miller (Christy) of LaGrange.
